Community Voices Solidarity Picnic at Canaan Valley Resort

Join us for a fun-filled Community Voices Solidarity Picnic. Come together to celebrate and advocate for our lands, air, water, and most importantly, our voice! Meet fellow West Virginia residents and community advocates. Break bread together. Enjoy crafts, music, and a chance to participate in the legislative process.​

And on Monday, from 10am - 5pm, take part in the West Virginia legislative interims at the Canaan Valley Resort. Legislative interim meetings are generally open to the public and the media, allowing citizens to attend in person to watch our lawmakers discuss policy and study topics between regular sessions. The schedule for these meetings is posted and available here.

Community Potluck and Roundtable Discussion at the Thomas Community Center

We will come together as a community, share what we know, hear from experts, and share ideas. Kelly Allen with the West Virginia Center on Budget and Policy will be joining us. We recommend bringing a chair and your own beverage along with something to add to the table if you wish.
